magnificent view from the mini village apartment but with everything you need for a good holiday: a few restaurants, a mini grocery store, a distributor etc. however wasps all the time on the terrace which prevented us from eating outside (the kitchen is small to eat at 5) which frustrated us given the view we had!!! the owner does not speak English too bad there is not a minimum of things in the kitchen on arrival (salt, pepper etc)
Clean and very well located apartment in the small peaceful village of Okukjle. The view from the terrace is magnificent. There are several restaurants, a small grocery store and an ATM, which is very nice. The welcome with the owner is very warm. I highly recommend this apartment in which we spent 4 nights.
The bay and the whole island are amazing. The hosts are very kind. Quiet, peaceful place, not crowded. I recommend it to everyone, I would be happy to go back anytime.

Great holiday apartment on the first floor with everything you need, very nice hosts, Okuklje is centrally located on the island, so you don't have to drive far to the national park or the dream beaches of Saplunara. The beach at Okuklje is not a real bathing beach, but it is ideal for a morning and evening swim. There is a nice village shop within walking distance. Parking in the large car park in front of the town, a few meters from the holiday apartment, is no problem. Apart from the national park, Mljet is a little-developed dream island for chilling out and enjoying yourself.
Tolle Ferienwohnung im 1. Stock mit allem, was man braucht, sehr nette Gastgeber, Okuklje liegt zentral auf der Insel, sodaß man sowohl zum Nationalpark als auch zu den Traumständen von Saplunara nicht weit fahren muss. Der Strand von Okuklje ist kein echter Badestrand, aber optimal, um morgens und abends eine Runde schwimmen zu gehen. Fussläufig gibt es einen netten Dorfladen. Parken auf dem großen Parkplatz vor dem Ort wenige Meter von der Ferienwohnung entfernt ist kein Problem. Mljet ist bis auf den Nationalpark eine wenig erschlossene Trauminsel zum Chillen und geniessen.
