Very beautiful and quiet location, great view, lots of hiking opportunities. The hosts are very nice and helpful. We were there two years ago and the quality of the house has improved: clean and no musty smell. Old cupboards are still there: if you like the 60s, you'll like it!

Sehr schöne und ruhige Lage, tolle Aussicht, viele Wandermöglichkeiten. Die Hausherren sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Wir waren schon vor zwei Jahren dort, die Qualität des Hauses hat sich gebessert: sauber und kein muffige Geruch. Alte Schränke sind noch da: wer 60er mag, dem wird es gefallen!

The old stone house is in a fantastic location, has a garden with three terraces with/without sun and a roof to protect it from the rain. There is also a wonderful view of the sea and the islands and the mountains, birdsong in the morning and evening, a natural paradise. There are two parking spaces in front of the house, easy to get to, with shade, the small village street is a dead end with little traffic. You can start walking from the house, up the mountain and explore the old village. It is a 5-minute drive to the beach. There is enough space for four people on the ground floor, and there is also a basement room, and all the rooms are nice and cool. The furnishings are as in the photos, traditional but carefully renovated and clean and tidy - really lovingly done. The lighting and air conditioning are modern. The caretakers are friendly, always available and trilingual. Overall, we really liked it, you can relax here and discover a lot in the area!

Das alte Steinhaus liegt traumhaft, hat einen Garten mit drei Terrassen mit/ohne Sonne und Dach als Regenschutz. Dazu die herrliche Aussicht auf’s Meer und die Inseln und die Berge, morgens und abends Vogelgesang, ein Naturparadies. Vor dem Haus zwei Parkplätze, eben anzufahren, mit Schatten, die kleine Dorfstraße hat als Sackgasse wenig Verkehr. Man kann vom Haus aus loswandern, den Berg hinauf und dabei das alte Dorf erkunden. Zum Strand sind es mit dem Auto 5 Minuten. Innen ist im Erdgeschoss genug Platz für vier Personen, zusätzlich gibt es ein Kellerzimmer, alle Räume sind schön kühl. Die Einrichtung ist wie auf den Fotos, traditionell aber behutsam renoviert und sauber und ordentlich – echt liebevoll gemacht. Beleuchtung und Klimaanlage sind modern. Die Hausmeister sind herzlich, immer erreichbar und dreisprachig. Insgesamt hat es uns sehr gut gefallen, hier kann man relaxen und in der Umgebung viel entdecken!

It is located a little outside of Omis and has a great kitchen. From the church in the village you can go on a hike into the mountains. One hour to the summit. Is beautiful. Also easy to do with children. From there you could walk even further and it is well signposted. It was a very nice vacation in a beautiful place. . just needs to cook. The furnishings of the house were mostly old, causing a musty smell (especially carpets and a huge amount of unnecessary textiles). The owners are friendly and helpful. Price is inadequate to the quality of accommodation

Pros: great location, quiet, beautiful view, terrace with vines, free parking next to the house, nice caretakers Cons: old wool carpets - unhygienic, no way to keep/clean them - no broom, vacuum cleaner in a disastrous condition; no shower bracket, old faucets that twist and drip when switched; the apartment is full of old furniture from 60/70; all cupboards and drawers are full of old things (garbage); the double bed consists of two mattresses and they kept sliding down, between the mattresses was never cleaned (hair, old socks, crumbs); very old hand and tea towels; the dishes before using should be washed thoroughly, otherwise it stuck to the hands; all electrical appliances are very old in a hardly acceptable condition (fridge, kettle, stove). Conclusion: insufficient price/performance ratio: you can live with it, but not at this price! We have stayed in this place before and for 90euros/day in low season you can get better accomodations/facilities.

Pro: tolle Lage, Ruhe, schöne Aussicht, Terrasse mit Weinreben, kostenloser Parkplatz neben dem Haus, nette Hausmeister Kontra: alte Wollteppiche – unhygienisch, keine Möglichkeit sie sauber zu halten/machen – kein Besen, Staubsauger in einem katastrophalen Zustand; keine Duschhalterung, alte Wasserhähne, die sich beim Umschalten verdrehen und tropfen; die Wohnung ist voll mit alte Möbel aus 60/70; alle Schränke und Schubladen sind voll mit alten Sachen (Müll); das Doppelbett besteht aus zwei Matratzen und sie rutschten immer wieder runter, zwischen den Matratzen wurde nie gereinigt (Haare, alte Socken, Krümmel); sehr alte Hand- und Geschirrtücher; das Geschirr vorm Benutzen sollte gründlich gewaschen werden, sonst klebte zu den Händen; alle Elektrogeräte sind sehr alt in einem kaum akzeptablen Zustand (Kühlschrank, Wasserkocher, Herd). Fazit: unzureichende Preis/Leistung Verhältnisse: man kann damit leben, aber nicht zu diesem Preis! Wir waren schon öfter in diesem Ort und für 90euro/Tag in Nebensaison bekommt man bessere Unterkünfte/Ausstattung.

Very nice, quiet location in a small mountain village with a great view of the sea, islands and mountains. The shady parking lot at the house is ideal, just a few meters from the front door without parking stress. On the three terraces you can choose sun or shade and sit in the middle of the green. Thanks to the fence, the children are safe, and there is hardly any traffic on the village street. The old stone house is renovated with modern lighting, internet, satellite and air conditioning. The apartment is spacious and lovingly furnished, we liked the creative vintage style. The caretaker gave us a friendly welcome, after which we were able to enjoy the house and garden alone. Overall great accommodation, especially for nature lovers and individualists.

Sehr schöne, ruhige Lage in einem kleinen Bergdorf mit tollem Blick auf Meer, Inseln und Gebirge. Ideal ist der schattige Parkplatz am Haus, nur wenige Meter zur Haustür ohne Parkstress. Auf den drei Terrassen kann man sich Sonne oder Schatten aussuchen und sitzt mitten im Grünen. Dank Zaun sind die Kinder sicher, auch ist auf der Dorfstraße kaum Verkehr. Das alte Steinhaus ist renoviert mit moderner Beleuchtung, Internet, Satellit und Klimaanlage. Die Wohnung ist geräumig und liebevoll eingerichtet, uns gefiel der kreative Vintage-Stil. Der Hausmeister hat uns freundlich empfangen, danach konnten wir Haus + Garten alleine genießen. Insgesamt tolle Unterkunft, insbesondere für Naturliebhaber und Individualisten.

The location of the house is fine. Unfortunately we were not very satisfied with the accommodation. There was a damaged bedside lamp in one of the bedrooms. The wardrobes and chests of drawers were filled, so there was no storage space for your own clothes. There was hot water for showering, but not enough for 3 adults. The house was not ventilated (old, musty smell). The taps in the kitchen and shower were difficult to turn on and off. The toilet cistern urgently needs to be replaced. It is set too high and it was written that you should hit it with your hand at the top if the water does not stop flowing. In addition, there was only one damaged clothes horse. In the late evening there was no way to turn on a light from the stairs to the front door. Under these special circumstances, the rental costs are unfortunately far too high. Die Lage des Hauses ist in Ordnung. Leider sind wir mit der Unterkunft nicht sehr zufrieden gewesen. In einem Schlafzimmer befand sich eine beschädigte Nachttischlampe. Die Kleiderschränke und Kommoden waren gefüllt, sodass es keinen Stauraum für die eigene Kleidung gab. Es war Warmwasser zum Duschen vorhanden, es reichte jedoch nicht für 3 erwachsene Personen. Das Haus war ungelüftet ( alter, muffiger Geruch ). Die Wasserhähne in der Küche und in der Dusche ließen sich nur schwer auf- und zudrehen. Der Spülkasten der Toilette sollte dringend erneuert werden. Er ist zu hoch angesetzt und es stand geschrieben, man solle oben mit der Hand drauf schlagen, falls das Wasser nicht aufhöhre zu fließen. Außerdem war nur ein beschädigter Wäscheständer vorhanden. Am späten Abend gab es keine Möglichkeit, von den Treppen bis zur Haustür ein Licht einzuschalten. Unter diesen besonderen Umständen, sind die Mietkosten leider viel zu hoch. Mit freundlichen Grüßen Familie Kästner :)
