Croatian wines have been successfully presented in Budapest for the second time this year. Wines were presented to the press representatives by Croatian established enologist Saša Špiranac. Wines from Croatia have been tasted by 26 reporters, representatives of the most popular magazines, television (Hungarian public television – MTV) and radio stations(MR1, Jazzy). Presentation was held once again due to the great interest of the audience that wanted to learn more about the professional approach to Croatian wine analysis. Croatia, as a wine country, is most famous for Welschriesling, Malmsey and Plavac. Budimpesta turned out to be a great opportunity for presentation of other Croatian quality sorts, such as Žlahtina from the island of Krk, “trendy” Malmsey, Plavac form southern Dalmatia and inland sorts. No one was left indifferent by Croatian wines, and it was a special treat to see guests carefully tasting our wines.
