Beach Gornja Vala, Makarska - Gradac

Thanks to the favorable location under the mountain Biokovo, Gradac is a place that is protected from winds, making it also a favorite destination for many tourists who are spending a vacation on their yachts. Its great advantage is also the proximity to Makarska.

The Gornja vala beach is one of the longest on the Makarska Riviera. Five kilometers of fine gravel along the Gradac promenade, the natural shade provided by the pine forests, are the ideal refreshment combination for the hot summer days. It is located only 300 m from the center so you won't need a car to get there. If you are coming from nearby places it is worth noting that there are many parking spaces for your car. In case you are not traveling with a personal vehicle, Gradac can be reached by city bus line which covers the whole Makarska Riviera.

If you want a break from day-to-day swim you can go to one of the restaurants or bars that are spread along the entire beach. Active visitors will also enjoy a lot thanks to the possibilities of renting jet skis, kayaks, volleyball games. The beach also has suitable showers, public toilets, changing cabins.
