Zlarin Island is the first Croatian island that banned plastic, a part of a project that should preserve the plant and animal world, as well as the intact nature, which is so beautiful that many tourists decide to spend their vacation here. You must not use plastic cups, plastic bags and similar items on Zlarin. Untouched nature attracts a large number of active tourists and outdoor sports fans. Zlarin is recognizable in Croatia by corals. The activity of hunting and processing of corals has been present on this island since the 15th century. Those who prefer to visit the local sights should visit the church of Assumption of Mary and the Church of Our Lady of Rašelje.

You can also walk along the Zlarin riva - the longest island promenade in Croatia, which is 130 meters long.

How to reach island Zlarin?
